What Gartner has to say about Qlik
Through their lead product Qlik Sense, users are offered governed data discovery, agile analytics and business intelligence. Users can also create customised applications through Qlik’s Analytics Platform and their other product QlikView (which allows users a deeper look into data and analytics) continues to be enhanced and developed.
“Qlik’s position in the Leaders quadrant is driven by progress on its roadmap for augmented analytics, improvements in marketing strategy, and ease of use.”
There are many strengths with Qlik including:
Scalable and robust – QlikView and Qlik Sense are often used by customers as a data mart and this is because it can support multiple data sources, complex data models and complex calculations. It can also support complex data transformations from multiple data sources in support of the agile, centralised BI provisioning for interactive dashboards.
Data for good efforts – The Fast Company magazine recognised Qlik as one of the Top 10 innovative companies for Social Good. Qlik launched their Change Our World Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in 2010 and today through this programme provides software and services for over 300 not-for-profit organisations for free.
Product vision – Partners have the ability to develop and further enhance the platform and this is how some of Qlik’s most successful acquisitions such as NPrinting and Idevio happened. Another partner project, Qlik DataMarket has further executed on its augmented analytics roadmap and ability to analyse both at-rest data and streaming analytics. The possibility and scope with Qlik is truly endless.
You’re in good company – Business Intelligence and Strategy are part of 1,700 partners worldwide, meaning it’s not just us and Gartner who see just how beneficial Qlik is for businesses.
